She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic training and minors in Exercise Science and Sports Management. Emily then went on to the University of Hartford where she completed her Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics. She is a board certified Athletic Trainer in the states of New York, Connecticut, and South Carolina, and holds certificates in Basic Life Support/ CPR and AED.
Emily has worked extensively with the Adaptive Bobsled and Skeleton Association in both Park City, Utah and Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She has experience with USA Wheelchair Rugby and Wheelchair Basketball and is certified athletic trainer for the high school level as well. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
Emily’s love of sports and athletics is evidenced by the fact that she played soccer all four years at Alfred University and is an active participant in the Crossfit program.
