He is the managing partner of Capital Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc. in Columbia, SC and is one of the original founding members of the company which opened in March of 1983. Ross began his career in Orthotics and Prosthetics in New Bern, NC in 1972 and worked as a practice manager for J.E. Hanger Co. in Charleston, SC from 1978 to 1982 before relocating to Columbia, SC to form Capital Prosthetics and Orthotics in 1983.
Ross completed the certificate programs in prosthetics and orthotics at New York University and Northwestern University and has continued his education through numerous courses and certifications. His commitment to continuing education for all Capital O&P practitioners has established the company as the Midlands of South Carolina’s leading authority on the latest technological advancements in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Ross is a member of the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association, American Academy of Prosthetics and Orthotics, and of the South Carolina Society of Prosthetist and Orthotist.
He enjoys working with people and solving problems with individuals that are physically challenged.
