
Nikki Hooks Driggers, Certified Orthotist and Board Eligible Prosthetist, has joined the Carolina-Ottobock Care team . The extent of Nikki’s knowledge is evidenced by the breadth and depth of her experience as a staff orthotist treating both adult and pediatric patients.
Nikki utilizes outcome based measures such as Amputee Mobility Predictor (AMP) and Prosthesis Evaluation Questionnaire (PEQ) to assess prosthetic patients’ activity level to ensure the most compatible device provided. Nikki is certified to provide numerous conventional style devices as well as many technologically-advanced orthoses, including WalkAide, cranial remodeling helmets, stance phase controlled KAFO’s and scoliosis bracing.
Additionally, Nikki is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP) and the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA), fellow of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (FAACPDM), Orthotic and Prosthetic Activities Foundation (OPAF) Board of Directors member and treasurer, Medical Officer in the Army National Guard (2LT Driggers). Nikki also teaches the First Fit Clinics for OPAF and has been practicing in the state since 2008.
